FACT grievance form (DRAFT)

If you want management to know that you care about whether or not they follow the Collective Agreement, especially if you would have applied to one of those positions if you'd had the chance, you can make a complaint regarding this situation. Please note that the deadline is 7 working days after you become aware of the issue. The purpose is to show management how many people do care, and how many are affected, no matter the outcome.

Because there may be many staff involved, we've made it simple for you to take action alongside your fellow workers:
1. Email your supervisor and cc Heather Eddy and Helen Fishburne

1. Download and print the grievance form. If you agree to it, sign your name. If there's anything you'd want to add, connect with a steward.
2. Bring it to Julie Chambo by your submission deadline (7 working days after becoming aware of the issue) - a great opportunity is at tomorrow's All staff - you can use your break to submit to your steward (will we have copies ready?).
3. The pile of grievances will be submitted by Julie to Heather on Monday, which is the deadline for filing an individual grievance according to the grievance process set out in the CA.

Click here to download the grievance form. Enter your name, address, and phone number. Check your union card for your membership number. We are local 291. You do not need to enter your classification, date of hire, department, or sector. If you like, you can copy and paste the information below into the grievance. Or you can print and write it by hand.

Article 3.01 (c) - Management Rights

Settlement Desired
